kbubble v2 — living border lab

ENTRY-BUBBLE1 · hover blows at the bubble, click puffs harder · every slider shows its value and the settings box below is copy-paste-ready · source m/katomia/kbubble.js · v2: puff radius + wavelength/stiffness + offset + blur knobs, and the dpr offset bug fixed (the loop now sits ON the border at 0,0) · bubble-open.html tunes what happens when you click one — the loop inflates into a window onto the next page

Light — three stroke voices

Dark — the pitch-deck world

Filled — the bubble IS the button (v3)

No CSS background or border on these — the element's box is transparent and the loop's interior is the fill, so the surface flexes with the border instead of a static rectangle showing through. Turn the fill knob below on/off to compare against the outline-only versions above.

Filled on dark

Knobs — live on every button

The two new big ones: puff radius slides from "ripple exactly where the pointer is" to "the whole button responds, pointer position subliminal" — the hover-feel scale you described. wave speed + smoothing together set slinky-string ↔ stiff plastic/steel ring (longer, wider flexes instead of granular ripples). Offset 0,0 now sits on the border; slide it for the deliberate floating-halo look.
